Outdated References 47

New Episode! Well sort of... We recorded this episode back in June when society is slowly starting to open, mass protests, and television. This week it's a two man show with Russ and Nathan. We chat about loss, Russ' love of "Overwatch," Nathan's Arcade Monitor, and then television like "What We Do in the Shadows," "Venture Brothers" and "Rick and Morty." So yeah, it's another hodgepodge show about nerd shit. Sweet.

Outdated References 46: Gaming Gaming Gaming!

We caught up on TV so this week we actually talked about video gaming, mainly Nintendo gaming. Adam finally got around to playing some Breath of the Wild and we discuss some outdated topics like a new Paper Mario,  3D Super Mario releases and KOTOR II talk, sort of. What?

Outdated References 42: Old Friends Not Forgotten

This week, Russ, Jules, Adam, and I did a long video game talk about everything from Mario Kart 8 to OverWatch. Socializing through gaming is the best way to deal with the dread of quarantine and helps keep you sane. When we get to the meat of the episode we all started to fanboy over Star Wars Clone Wars Episode 9, “Old Friends Not Forgotten.” (SQUEEEEE!!!) Eventually the discussion went into geeky direction about what is a Jedi. Was the Council right or wrong? Who was the personification of paragon? Who was corrupted by politics? Also, where does Darth Maul fit into Clone Wars, Rebel and Solo? Ah, my head is hurting.
