Outdated References: 138 Final Episode of 2022!?

This week will be our final episode for this year, as we all hunker down for the upcoming holiday season. So please enjoy this episode as we talk about all of the new trailers, talk about the current status of Las Vegas, argue about a Japanese guy not knowing who is Batman... We are all over the place this week, but eventually we focus on Star Trek Prodigy: Episode 16 "Preludes" & Episode 17 "Ghost in the Machine." So next year, we will catch up on "Wednesday" & "Willow."

Happy Chanukah, Happy Christmas, Joyous Kwanza, Happy Boxing Day, Happy Festivius, and Happy New Year!

Outdated References 137: Post Turkey Day

It's after Thanksgiving, we are full of turkey and shared our American holiday experiences and our favorite dishes. Of course, it wouldn't be the Outdated References podcast unless we argue about casseroles. After we overcame our turkey comas, we talk about the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special and more Star Trek Prodigy spoiler talk.

Happy Holidays, we have one more show dropping before the end of the year so see you then!

This week, we have Russ and Nathan talking about House of the Dragons, Andor, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and She-Hulk. And in the middle of all that we actually get to chat a bit about some new and old Anime we are currently into at this moment. Weird, I know. This week, Russ, Adam and Nathan catch up as Adam shares his experience at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, AZ. Nathan shares his experience about trying to get his Prius Prime in Nevada. Adam shares more detail with the life improvement to the TMNT Cowabunga Collection.

This week we discuss Star Trek  Lower Decks & She-Hulk then Adam bails. That is when Russ and I compare the two fantasy shows, House of Dragons vs Rings of Power. We go over our favorite part of the What We Do in the Shadows finale, more Harley Quinn talks and what we are liking about the new season of Rick and Morty and our mutual hatred of Rick and Morty fans.

Outdated References 127: Too Much to Talk About

Adam started his new job and Nathan talked about his birthday party. Russ and I talk about what we think is good whisky… Adam and I have major love for the new “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Shredder's Revenge.” We eventually talk about Project 4K77 and why we still dislike the Special Edition then we move on to our Obi-Wan Kenobi Part V and Part VI discussion, then we move into Episode 3 “Destined” of Ms Marvel.

We also get into The Boys Episode 4 “Glorious Five-Year Plan,” Episode 5 “The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies,” and Episode 6 “Herogasm” before moving onto Star Trek Episode 7 “The Serene Squall” and Episode 8 “The Elysian Kingdom.”

Outdated References 126: Plethora of TV Entertainment.

Hot damn, we have a lot of amazing shows to talk about this week, with Coral, Adam, Russ and Nathan. We just right into our favorite with our Stranger Things Season 4 Recap and how we are all waiting on bated breath for the last 2 episodes to drop in July. Lucky for us, there are so many crazy good shows to watch like, the return of The Orville. Personally I like the new look of the show and we find it weird having to compare it to good Star Trek, but we eventually get to Orville Episode 1 “Electric Sheep” & Episode 2 “Shadow Realms.”

This week we also talk about  Star Trek Strange New Worlds Episode 5 “Spock Amoke” & Episode 6 “Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach” and if that wasn’t enough sci-fi, we get to dissect Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 & 4 and figure out why some of us love it when some are losing patience with the show. Those of us who watched Ms. Marvel, generally agree, this show is fun. Check out Ms. Marvel episode 1, “Generation Why” on Disney Plus.

A rarity for our podcast, we are finally getting into Amazon’s crazy anti superhero show, “The Boys” season 3 Episode 1-3. I felt bad because I was unable to get through Episode 4 and Russ and Adam were frustrated trying their best now to spoil that episode.

Phew, that was a lot of shows.  I hope you are all watching these fun shows with us!

Outdated References 125 Supplemental: Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers

A film that I kind of knew was coming but, for the most part, I was in the dark and had no clue that this film was basically a spiritual sequel to Roger Rabbit. By that I mean cartoons that  are actually interacting with real people that look well, not like some other bad films (looking at both of you Space Jam.)

Join Adam and I as we just talk about our favorite gags and just gush about Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers.
