OutdateRef 208: Stranger Things Ep 1-4

This week it's a two man crew with Russ & Nathan catching up on Stranger Things Episode 1-4 while reminiscing about growing up in the 80s while also Nathan sharing his experience with a medical procedure because we old. Speaking of old, Nathan had to update Russ that his Sega Saturn collection is worth a pretty mint, then we bitch about how kids don't play with toys and lack imagination.

Ugh, anyways...

I hope you guys enjoy this as our last episode of 2025, especially since we forgot to hit record on actual last episode of 2025. D'oh!

Outdated References 128: Finales Galore

This week Coral, Russ, Adam, and I discuss our thoughts about the Stranger Things Season 4 Part 2 finale, The Boys Season 3 Finale, and Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 1 Finale.  Intermixed between all of the season finales, we discuss Ms Marvel episode 4 & 5

I hope you enjoy the energy everyone had for these shows because I have no idea what we will be discussing in the next episode. SO if you have any suggestions on shows we should check out, email us your suggestions.

Outdated References 126: Plethora of TV Entertainment.

Hot damn, we have a lot of amazing shows to talk about this week, with Coral, Adam, Russ and Nathan. We just right into our favorite with our Stranger Things Season 4 Recap and how we are all waiting on bated breath for the last 2 episodes to drop in July. Lucky for us, there are so many crazy good shows to watch like, the return of The Orville. Personally I like the new look of the show and we find it weird having to compare it to good Star Trek, but we eventually get to Orville Episode 1 “Electric Sheep” & Episode 2 “Shadow Realms.”

This week we also talk about  Star Trek Strange New Worlds Episode 5 “Spock Amoke” & Episode 6 “Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach” and if that wasn’t enough sci-fi, we get to dissect Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 & 4 and figure out why some of us love it when some are losing patience with the show. Those of us who watched Ms. Marvel, generally agree, this show is fun. Check out Ms. Marvel episode 1, “Generation Why” on Disney Plus.

A rarity for our podcast, we are finally getting into Amazon’s crazy anti superhero show, “The Boys” season 3 Episode 1-3. I felt bad because I was unable to get through Episode 4 and Russ and Adam were frustrated trying their best now to spoil that episode.

Phew, that was a lot of shows.  I hope you are all watching these fun shows with us!

Outdated References 125: Stranger New Kenobi

It’s a two man show with the Bias Bros as Adam and Nathan catch up. There is a ton of amazing new TV on right now but before we get into the shows we watched, Adam shares his thoughts on “Prehistoric Planet” and I learn a thing or two about the modern theories of Dinosaurs. While I binged the newest season of Stranger Things, we only discussed the first two episodes and how Argyle is the best new character on the show.

We then focused our attention on our favorite Star Trek show, Star Trek Strange New Worlds Episode 3 “Ghost of Illyria” and Episode 4 “Memento Mori.” Oh yeah, did you know Disney’s Plus just dropped two episodes of “Obi-Wan Kenobi?” OMG, we are super excited for this show. Did it live up to our expectations? Listen and find out.
